Three Basic Machining Methods

1. Workpiece Rotation (Drill Head Brake)
The headstock drives the workpiece to rotate, while the boring bar drives the combination head, drill bit, and German-style hydraulic fine boring and rolling tools to feed. Ideal for precision machining on hot-rolled steel pipes.

2. Tool Rotation (Headstock Brake)
The headstock is braked to keep the workpiece stationary. The boring bar head drives the boring bar to rotate. This function performs fine boring and rolling on hot-rolled or cold-drawn steel pipes with pre-bored inner holes, correcting drilling deviations.
3. Dual Rotation of Workpiece and Drill Bar
The headstock drives the workpiece to rotate, while the boring bar head drives the boring bar to rotate and feed simultaneously. This method significantly improves the straightness and efficiency of the machined parts.
