The Broken Tool Detector adopts a contact-based detection method within the tool magazine. When the detection rod touches the tool tip, it automatically returns to the origin. Through logical operations and detection algorithms, it calculates the wear or breakage of the tool tip and immediately notifies the system to prevent production accidents.
The system effectively detects tool wear or breakage without occupying processing time. It is compatible with disk-type and chain-type tool magazines.
